Rabbi Mendy and Rivka Minkowitz direct the Chabad Elon Jewish Student Center along with their kids Meir, Musya, Zeldi, and Chana since December 2015, when it first opened its doors. 

 

Rabbi Mendy, a native of Milan, Italy has been to more than 20 countries on volunteer visits and while attending rabbinical school. He received his rabbinical ordination from the Central Lubavitch Yeshiva in Brooklyn, NY.

Rivka was born and raised in Burlington, Vermont, where her parents direct the network of  Chabad in that state.

​

She has taught in school and summer camps in China, Brazil and around the US.
